Blue Note Poznań Jazz Club

Blue Note club was established in February of 1998 and to this day remains one of the few places in Poland where concerts of world class indie music stars are regularly organized. The club is situated in the center of Poznan, in the basement of “Zamek” Cultural Center.

The club started its activities in agreement with the legendary New York Blue Note Club. To this day, hundreds of concerts have taken place here, featuring nearly all Polish jazz musicians as well as international jazz stars.

Blue Note follows the rule of an “open club”, and also introduces interesting performers from other musical genres - blues, soul, flamenco, acid jazz, hip hop, reggae, as well as Celtic, ethnic or cabaret music. The most prominent musical events with world renown jazz and improv artists are featured within the “Jazz Top w Blue Note” festival, organized in cooperation with the Authorities of the City of Poznan.

Blue Note offers two rooms - the lower one with a stage and the upper one - the mezzanine. The club can host up to 600 people at a time.
