It has been almost two decades since spring in Poznań is gussied up by Pyrkon, a three-days long Fan Convention, for several years now consistently located within the area of the Poznań International Fair and gathering lovers of broadly understood fantasy: films, TV series, books, comics and games of all kinds. It’s the largest event of its type in Poland and one of the largest in Europe, visited by a constantly growing number of participants (the number of whom during the last edition exceeded 120 thousand). Everyone will find unforgettable attractions here, suited to their needs: meetings with guests both Polish and international (in the previous years Felicia Day, Patricia Briggs, Stan Sakai, Christopher Judge and many, many more visited Poznań), workshops, lectures, shows, concerts, theatrical performances, exhibitions as well as outdoor cinema – and that’s only the tip of the iceberg, which is composed of a couple hundreds of program events! It’s a fantastic meeting spot where no one gets bored – no matter their age or hobbies. Come and see for yourself.
