Nostalgia Festival Poznań 2016

Nostalgia Festival Poznań is an event that goes all the way to the roots of European countries, connecting them with modern approach.  From 4th to 6th November 2016 Poznań will host this festival again. This edition of Nostalgia Festival Poznań will be dedicated entirely to Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Polish composer.  



This edition of Nostalgia Festival Poznań is dedicated to Polish composer, Henryk Mikołajowi Górecki. This composer drew from the rhythmic and melodic Polish folk music, using the latest composing techniques of the twentieth century. Nostalgia Festival Poznań reminds songs of Górecki, that have become part of the world cultural heritage. During the Nostalgia Festival Poznań music of Górecki will be read again by Marcin Masecki.

Additional events will be held as well: film screenings (documentaries about the composer, concerts), talks with artists and workshops. Free admission for those events.

Free tickets for the main concerts have to be picked up at City Information Centre (ul. Ratajczaka 44, Poznań).
