The Boys in Green are Back!

Just a few months after the two teams met at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Poland and Ireland will play each other again in a friendly international at Poznań's City Stadium on 19th November.

Anyone who was here in Poznań for Euro 2012 will remember the craic that was had by those thousands of boys in green who made it over for the tournament.  They will also remember the friendship that was forged between local Poznanians and the visitors.

On November the 19th we will all get the chance to relive those wonderful weeks in 2012 as the Irish team take to the field again, this time to play the Bialo-Czerwony. The atmosphere in the city and the stadium is sure to be fantastic.

This is a period of rebuilding for both teams who failed to qualify for the World Cup in Brazil and released their respective managers. Let's hope that this match marks the beginnings of recovery and a more successful qualifying campaign for France in 2016.

Whatever the result on the pitch or the performances of the teams, Poznan really will be the place to be on the days and nights surrounding the match. You would be crazy to miss it!
