Around 2500 people in Poland a year find out they suffer from leukemia. The newest possibilities and developments in the field of hematology and transfusion medicine have been presented and discussed during the 25th Annual Polish Hematologists and Transfusion Medicine Specialists Conference. The conference took place on September 25th-28th in Poznań International Fair. During the three-day event, 41 program sessions on around 24 subjects have taken place, with planned appearances by 125 lecturers from Poland and abroad, as well as over 200 poster presentations.
